Croc embossed leather
Top Grain, embossed Leather with the exotic look of a crocodile. Specially tanned premium hides allow for embossing with more depth and character to create the texture of Exotic leather. The finish is hand-embossed and ages very nicely with use.
Full Grain Leather
Full grain refers to the strongest and most durable part of the hide. It displays the more natural characteristics of leather. Full grain is regarded as the highest quality leather, which is why ultimately we choose it to make our accessories.
Suede Leather
Split leather or suede, is leather which has been textured to have a napped finish. Suede’s softness and pliability make it useful for certain applications.
Nubuck
Usually includes leathers with natural imprints and grains showing, it is a grain leather that is textured to have a nap finish. The nubuck is strong and durable. We use it for our coloured leather accessories.
Aniline leather
A type of leather dyed only with soluble dyes. They allow the natural surface of the leather to show through (blemishes, cuts, etc.) Generally only higher quality leathers are used since they have nice, even surfaces and are great for creating vintage/distressed looks.
Antique Grain
Is a type of leather that has been treated with a surface affect to give an aged and distressed finish. Antique grain leather allows one to utilize an aged look in their finished product, without requiring the leather to be very old or worn out.
De-grained Leather
( the shinier, smoother leather) is a type of leather that has had the grain layer removed to provide a smoother surface. Benefits of de-grained leather include a smooth, consistent surface that looks quite polished and rich.
Metallic Leather
Metallic Leather is a type of leather that has had a metal layer of material added to it during the finishing process. This layer creates a metallic, shiny, reflective look to the finished leather.
Nappa (Napa) ( soft leathers)
Napa is type of leather this is more a general marketing term for a soft, smooth, full grain leather. it can be used to connote a smooth, soft leather.
